Rate Increase Effective April 2021

In June, the Windsor Town Council voted in favor of our request for a rate increase. This rate increase is effective back to April 1, 2021. This increase, along with the retroactive increase back to April 1, will be reflected on your next statement.

The cost of disposal at landfills continues to be dynamic. Sonoma County Resource Recovery increased rates to account for an increase in the cost of disposal.

The Town Council approved the rate increase to be effective April 1, 2021 (meaning this increase is effective retroactively to April 1, 2021). This is to align with the new annual rate adjustment date of April 1.

New rates were not established until after March 30, the end of the previous quarter. Town Council did not hear the rate increase proposal until June.
